Relegation threatened Luton travel to Molineux on Saturday to face Wolves as The Hatters look to climb out of the bottom three in the table.

Rob Edwards’ side are just one point behind Nottingham Forest in the Premier League table going into the crucial game this weekend.

It looks difficult to see anything but goals between these two sides, with Wolves scoring in 14 of their 16 home matches so far this campaign but conceding in 13 of these 16 games.

Luton haven’t found goals a problem to come by, with The Hatters scoring in 29 of their 34 Premier League fixtures but it’s been letting goals in which has been an issue for them, conceding in 32 of their 34 games and yet to keep a clean sheet in any of their 17 matches on the road.

The graphic below shows Wolves ranked 15th and Luton even lower in 19th for the number of clean sheets this term.

Edwards’ men have the worst away defence in the league, conceding a staggering 43 goals in 17 games and have the 2nd worst defence across the season, shipping 75 goals, with only Sheffield United conceding more.

In terms of both teams to score, 11 of Wolves’ 16 Premier League games at Molineux have ended with this outcome. Meanwhile for Luton there statistics are even higher, with 13 of their 17 games away from Kenilworth Road ending with both teams scoring.

Furthermore, Luton have the 3rd highest number of games where Over 2.5 goals has happened, with 24 of The Hatters 34 fixtures (71%) yielding at least this number of goals.

For O’Neil’s Wolves side, Over 2.5 goals has occurred in 21 of their 33 games this campaign (64%) and in 10 of their 16 matches on home soil.

LeoVegas are offering 1.75 on Both Teams To Score and Total Goals Over 2.5 and given the statistics it would be hard to argue against this one paying out.

Another betting market of keen interest is the Highest Scoring Half to be the 2nd half, with 888 Sport offering 2.05 on this landing.

Wolves have scored 63% of their goals this season in the 2nd half of matches but have also conceded 58% of their goals after the half-time break.

As for Luton, they have scored 30 of their 47 goals in the second period (63%) but have also let in 49 of their 75 goals after the interval (66%).

O’Neil’s men have scored 15 of their 23 home goals after half-time yet have also conceded 16 of their 25 goals during this half.

As for The Hatters 12 of their 22 goals on the road have come in the 2nd half but they have managed to concede an alarming 32 of their total 43 goals during this half, which equates to 74% of their total goals conceded away from home.
